Edit-a-thon Analogue Film
The Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision invites students to join us for an edit-a-thon where we’ll focus on the ways we can increase accessibility and reusability of knowledge about analogue filmmaking.
During this workshop you will receive a crash course from Wikimedia volunteers on how to write and edit Wikipedia pages. We will then work on improving Wikipedia pages with more comprehensive and diverse information on analogue film and enrich them with images and videos.

How to prepare?
Be sure to create your personal Wikipedia account before 1 November.
Please bring your own laptop to work on.
Brainstorm some topics around analogue film that you'd like to work on! The topics can either already have a Wikipedia page or it can be a totally new topic.
Topic suggestions:
-Film formats, aspect ratios, colour techniques etc.
-Camera and sound equipment.
-Kodak, Fuji film etc.
-Film genres
-Film makers
-Creative decisions behind analogue film
-Film processing
-Specific films
