Annelies Cordes has been working at Sound and Vision since 2009. Over the years she has built up a broad knowledge of acquisition, digitization, ingest and sustainable preservation. Annelies started at Beeld en Geluid as team leader of the Film Scanning department. She is currently working as Coordinator Ingest and is involved in various ingest projects, large and small. Annelies and her colleagues ensure that new digital collections get a place in the Digital Archive of Sound and Vision, according to the right requirements and conditions. She is also involved in a number of projects within the Sustainable Archiving field.
Annelies has completed the Master's program Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image at the University of Amsterdam. During this study she did an internship at EYE Filmmuseum. After her studies, she worked for several years as an AV collection manager at Nieuwland Heritage Center.
