Karin van Arkel
As a former program maker her heart is in making radio and TV. Her current expertise therefore lies in the (optimization of) the process of the automatic ingest of files and metadata of radio and tv broadcasts from the public broadcasters. Hereby she focuses on media management, metadata and automatic annotation.
In addition to the ingest of public broadcast material, she also focuses on material from private individuals and commercial broadcasts. She is also a member of the Media Management Committee of FIAT / IFTA.
Karin van Arkel has been working at Sound and Vision since 2015.
