Board and Management

Sound and Vision follows the Supervisory Board model. The Minister of Education, Culture and Science appoints the chairman of the Supervisory Board. The Dutch public broadcaster NPO appoints three members. In addition, the Board itself appoints three members with the profiles Heritage, Creative Industry and Scientific Research.

Supervisory Board

Members of the Supervisory Board are appointed for a period of four years, with the possibility of reappointment for a second term of four years. The maximum term of office is therefore eight years. The current members of the Supervisory Board are:

Julia Noordegraaf (professor of Digital Heritage, UvA)

Hedwig Saam (director Museum Het Valkhof)


The acting CEO is Eppo van Nispen tot Sevenaer.

He is responsible for Sound and Vision's vision, strategy and policy.
