Start planning your visit to Sound and Vision!

Please note that most of the museum and activities are in Dutch, with no translation available. You are free to visit our building and collection customer service; no ticket is needed to access those.

Opening times

The museum, the Sound and Vision experience, is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. We are also open on Boxing Day.

The collection customer service is open on business days from 9am to 5pm. Here you have free access to our collection and are able to view and listen to all digital content for free. You can find it on floor -1 in our building.


  • Adults: € 17
  • Children 4 to 12 years, CJP, Students (valid student card needed): € 9,50
  • Children to 3 years, Museumkaart, BankGiro Loterij VIP-kaart, International Museumkaart (ICOM): free

Buy your ticket online or at the ticket booth.

Groups over 20 people get a 10 percent discount. Register in advance.


Our address is Media Parkboulevard 1, 1217 WE in Hilversum.
Via older navigation systems you can find us at Sumatralaan 45, 1217 GP in Hilversum.

Sound and Vision is located at walking distance from the train station Hilversum Media Park.


The parking garage of Sound and Vision can be found at the rear end of the building. The rate is € 1.50 per hour (maximum daily rate € 9). The garage has two charging stations for electric cars.

There is a limited number of free disabled spaces on the side of the building, behind the bus stop.



There are some wheelchairs available for visitors. Ask for them at the front desk.

The Sound and Vision experience is largely accessible by wheelchair. Wheelchair users pay the regular rates, access for the attendant is free.

Epilepsy and (over) sensitivity to stimuli

If you have epilepsy or are hypersensitive to flashes of light or a lot of stimuli, keep in mind that the experience shows many varied images.
