Bart van der Linden

Bart van der Linden in front of the coloured windows of Sound & Vision

As editor-in-chief of the media museum, Bart van der Linden (1972) is the link between the Sound & Vision archive and the museum presentations (online and on-site). He is in charge of the substantive development of new audience-oriented presentations and coordinates the research for the various projects within the media museum. The translation of the versatility of the Sound & Vision collections and the media collection outside the institute into appealing stories and experiences about media culture is part of his daily work.

Bart has been working at Sound & Vision since 1998. With his background as an information specialist and communication scientist, he started as an AV documentalist at the television archive. In 2009 he moved to the museum, where he has since led the research and content development for exhibitions such as Let's YouTube and News or Nonsense.
